Community Survey 2026
With the Family Aquatic Center scheduled to permanently close after the 2026 season, the City of Chesterfield once again reached out to residents to hear their thoughts on the best path forward.
In June 2026, Discovery Works Collaborative, in partnership with The Decision Co., conducted a community-wide survey. They began with a multi-modal, phone and Text-to-Web, random-sample survey of 306 residents. At the conclusion of that survey, an online opt-in survey was opened to all City of Chesterfield residents. A total of 1,472 opt-in surveys were completed.

A note on methodology: The online survey was an opt-in, not a random-sample, survey. Respondents self-selected into participation rather than being drawn using probability sampling. As a result, those findings are not scientifically representative of all Chesterfield residents and should not be treated as such.
